Event Committee When: We have a variety of exciting events planned throughout the year What: We are looking for energetic volunteers who want to help us with a variety of tasks, planning our events and on our decorating committee. Tasks include, helping in the office, decorating the event, picking up prizes, and other related duties. Whatever you are willing to help with we would appreciate it. Who: Lumby Community Garden requires a Project Coordinator When: ASAP What: The Lumby Community Garden Committee requires a Volunteer Project Coordinator to assist with the further development of a Community Garden. The committee would like to get the community involved, including students and seniors and everyone in between. The Lumby Community Gardeners are a committee that is supported by WCRC. The objective of the committee is to involve people of all ages in recreation and leisure opportunities through community gardening. The Project Coordinator tasks include working in a leadership capacity (within guidelines set forth by the funder under the direction of WCRC) supporting the further development of the garden and assisting a volunteer team to coordinate committee meetings, create food and gardening related intergenerational programs, and fundraise for garden events. This is a opportunity to contribute in a volunteer capacity while gaining invaluable work experience while networking with key partners and stakeholders within the Lumby and area communities. Who: Bingo Helpers at the OAP Hall What: Those who would be willing to give a couple of hours per month to help with Bingo. Tasks include running a small concession and helping with Bingo. A great opportunity to network and have a lot of fun.
