Family Support Program

Robin LeDrew, BSW and Irene Deleenheer, MSW, Sandra and Alice Tumlinson, B.Ed, Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy
Provide direct family support, individual and family counseling, parenting and life skills education, and referrals.
No fee is charged and the service is confidential.

 

Community Support Program

A limited amount of marital/individual counseling is available by appointment.
This program also provides trained volunteers
as support people who can help by providing support and/or
accompaniment to local services such as Transition House, Victim's Assistance, AA Meetings.

Home and School Support

A counseling and support program for students where home or community is impacting their ability to manage at school. Referrals through school based team.
Counselors: Charlie McGarrity, Sharon Storms -BSW, and Kimberly Beckett - BSW, Leah Willnger.

 

Kids Space

A fun, safe and positive place for your child after school.


Energetic staff planning exciting afternoons for chilren to relax, and socialize and grow!

Located at JW Inglis School, Monday-Friday, 2:30-5:30 pm, $7.00 per day for one child, (discounts available if more than one child from the same family attending). Program expansion has allowed for a primary/intermediate split! Pre-registration is required. Register by calling 547-8866.

North Fork Road, Cherryville Elementary School

After School Mondays and Thursdays.  Children ages 5-12.  Starting January 15 until the end of March, the after school program will have lots to do: music, gym, arts & crafts, drama, games and friends.  Fee will be $1 per child per day.

 

 

Parent and Tot Group

For those with children newborn to 6.
This is a parent/care giver participation drop-in program that is semi-structured. Station approach with various equipment, music, arts and informational activities with the assistance of parents and program leaders.
Wednesdays from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Cherryville Hall.

Good Times Together

Parents and tots get together on
Wednesday, 9:30-11:30 a.m. - September till June at the
Whitevalley Community Hall for playtime, guest speakers, crafts and so much more. Children socialize, as do the parents.
Bring a snack and juice for your child.

Nursery rhymes and songs for parents with babies or toddlers.

Nobody's Perfect Parenting Program

Open to moms and dads of children 0-6 years.
Childcare, transportation and refreshments costs covered. This six
to eight week program is offered once or twice per year.

Cherryville Parents and Tots

Invites parents with young children to meet other parents and children and have a coffee, chat, do crafts and have speakers occasionally.
Every Wednesday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Cherryville Community Hall.
